IP.ADDRESS

Description

This parameter is used to set the IP address of the drive for service port communication when IP.MODE is set to 1 for static IP.

Examples

Usage

IP.ADDRESS is only used when IP.MODE = 1. When setting up the drive with static IP, IP address must be set using IP.ADDRESS and subnet mask must be set using IP.SUBNET. IP.RESET can then be used to apply the specified IP settings.

Code

Set drive to be able to communicate with devices on 192.168.1.x subnet.

--> IP.MODE 1
--> IP.ADDRESS 192.168.0.1
--> IP.SUBNET 255.255.255.0
--> IP.GATEWAY 192.168.1.1
--> IP.RESET

Context

For more information on IP configuration, see Finding and Connecting to a Device.
